A Sarreguemines glazed ceramic character tobacco jar modelled as the head of a man wearing a peaked cap. This two-part humidor features a hollow head base and a removable lid formed by the top of the cap. The figure is depicted with expressive facial features, dark hair, and a light green collar. The peaked cap is finished in a grey glaze with a black brim. The underside of the lid is incised with the model number 3798. The base of the head bears a stamped factory mark in brown ink depicting a crest.
