A fine bone china side plate manufactured by Royal Crown Derby in the iconic Old Imari pattern, number 1128. The circular form features a slightly raised rim and a flat well, decorated in a traditional palette of underglaze cobalt blue and overglaze iron red, further enhanced with heavy 22-carat gold gilding. The design comprises a central five-petal floral medallion surrounded by alternating panels containing stylized floral sprays and geometric lattice patterns. The underside is marked with a red printed backstamp featuring a crown over two intertwined letters D, encircled by the words Royal Crown Derby and English Bone China. The pattern number 1128 and the Roman numeral date code XLIX are printed above the mark, indicating a manufacture year of 1986. Three small hand-painted artisan marks are also present in brown, red, and green.
