A set of four fine bone china decanter labels manufactured by Crown Staffordshire. Each label is of shield form with a scalloped upper edge and two pierced holes. The set identifies four spirits: Sherry, Brandy, Whisky, and Gin, with the names printed in central black serif capital letters. The decoration consists of a transfer-printed floral and ribbon border in shades of blue, green, pink, yellow, and purple, finished with a gilt rim. Each label is fitted with a dark-toned metal suspension chain. The reverse of each label bears a green printed manufacturer’s mark featuring a crown above an interlaced monogram, with the text Fine Bone China, Crown, 1801, Estd, Staffordshire, England, and a registered trademark symbol.
