A collection of British military and service peaked caps, primarily constructed from wool or wool-blend fabric with synthetic or patent leather peaks and chinstraps. The assortment includes examples in navy blue featuring red piping, dark green, and grey-blue, representative of various service branches including the Royal Air Force and British Army. One navy blue cap contains a white adhesive label reading ‘C F – 8 4 0 5 – 9 9 – 9 7 5 – 6 8 0 4 / A . G R A N T H A M L T D / S L 3 2 B / 4 0 3 7 / 5 7’. A dark green example features a black interior label printed in white with ‘T E L : / Liverpool / 6 1 / 7 1 / 2’. A grey-blue cap bears a small label marked ‘2 2 G – 4 4 3 8’, while another contains a label with the numbers ‘5 5 / 1 9’ beneath a transparent plastic protector. All original unit badges and insignia have been removed from the crowns. A small red adhesive star sticker is positioned on the peak of one cap.
