A pair of hand-carved and polychrome painted wooden bird figures, representing toucans, each perched upon a curved, natural-finish wooden standing base. The birds are decorated in vibrant shades; one featuring a blue head and green wings, the other a red head and brown wings. Both figures have long, multi-coloured beaks and yellow throats. The carving style is indicative of late 20th-century folk art. The underside of one base carries a hand-written paper label literally transcribed as Bought Nerja Spain 1995. A partial, illegible red circular stamp is also present on the raw wood of the base.
