This lot comprises four decorative glass panels of varying styles and techniques. Three of the panels are reverse-painted glass with foil or tinsel backing. This technique involves painting a black background and fine outlines on the reverse of the glass, leaving specific areas transparent to reveal shimmering layers of crumpled metallic foil behind. The subjects depicted in these panels include a lady in an elaborate patterned gown standing beside a pedestal with a cherub, a seated musician in a broad-brimmed hat playing a stringed instrument, and a wicker basket filled with roses in shades of pink and white. The fourth item is a rectangular leaded glass panel featuring a stylised red rose motif in the Glasgow School style. The central rose is set within a circular leaded border and intersected by vertical and horizontal lead cames, surrounded by panes of clear textured glass. No manufacturer marks, signatures, or labels are visible on any of the panels.
