A group of three decorative items including a wood marquetry serving tray and two pieces of hand-painted ceramics. The tray is constructed with a high-gloss burl wood veneer and features an inlaid floral marquetry spray to the centre. It is fitted with brass-tone handles and a gallery rail. The underside bears a gold foil label for Mayflower Sorrento, Made in Italy. The large ceramic bowl is decorated with a hand-painted coaching scene depicting a carriage, figures, and horses in a landscape. The interior sides feature a brown scumbled scale-effect pattern. The base is marked Sovereigndale Fine China England Collectors Piece and bears the artist signature T. J. Clwes. The footed ceramic mug or tankard is decorated with a hand-painted fruit study and features gilt highlights to the rim, base, and handle. The underside is marked Staffordshire Bone China England and is signed M. A. Brook. Each item bears an auction lot tag numbered 4933.
