A pair of German porcelain figural candelabra bases in the rococo style. Each piece features a central female figure in classical-style robes decorated with polychrome floral patterns, accompanied by a small winged putto. The figures are positioned against a scrolling central standard heavily encrusted with three-dimensional applied porcelain flowers and further decorated with hand-painted floral sprays and gilt highlights. The bases are of ornate scrolling form with additional applied floral elements. A small, hand-painted gold mark consisting of two intersecting strokes is present on the underside of one base. The construction and decoration are characteristic of late 19th-century Thuringian porcelain production. The underside reveals oxidized metal assembly bolts and nuts.
