A large Italian bisque porcelain figurine titled Aquarius, from the Zodiac collection by artist Giuseppe Armani. The classically styled maiden is depicted in a flowing, diaphanous gown of pale blue and white with delicate floral patterning. She is posed beside a fluted, spiral-carved column and holds a cornucopia overflowing with an assortment of multi-coloured flowers, including roses and carnations. The piece is set on an integral circular base designed with a cobblestone texture. The base features an incised script signature for G. Armani and an incised number 30110 within a rectangular border. The figurine exhibits the characteristic soft, matte finish of high-quality unglazed porcelain.
