The clock is surmounted by a cast figure of Cupid holding a bow, positioned above an oval dial housing. The body is heavily decorated with scrolling acanthus leaves, floral motifs, and pierced scrollwork. The lower section features two winged putti or cherubs flanking the base, which rests upon four ornate scroll feet. The circular dial displays a decorative black scrollwork centre with ornate pierced black hands. The hour markers consist of black Roman numerals set within white cartouche-shaped reserves. The dial is marked QUARTZ at the 3 o’clock position. The reverse reveals an opening for a battery-powered quartz movement.
