An ornate late 20th-century mantel clock in the Neo-Classical revival style, featuring a lyre-form central frame housing the movement. The case is constructed from gilded metal mounted upon a white marble plinth. The design is flanked by two cast putti figures holding a floral garland. The white dial features black Roman numerals, Arabic five-minute markers, and ornate pierced hands, with the inscription Made in Italy at the base. To the rear, the mechanical eight-day movement is visible, featuring a bell strike. The backplate is stamped with the FHS logo for Franz Hermle and Sohn, Germany, along with the numbers 79 and 130-010, indicating a manufacture date of 1979. The assembly is supported by a large gilded base decorated with foliate scrolls and resting on lion-paw feet.
