A late 19th or early 20th-century decorative dish or cabinet plate featuring a central circular plaque of translucent white glass, intricately decorated with hand-painted enamel and gilding in the Moroccan Fassi or Mokhfia style. The central medallion consists of a square divided into four quadrants containing alternating green and white checkerboard motifs and scrolling foliate designs, all highlighted with thick gilding. This is surrounded by segmented borders displaying blue and green geometric lattice work and small white stylised floral rosettes. The glass plaque is mounted within a wide, textured metal rim which features a hammered finish and a raised outer edge. The decoration incorporates both Moorish geometric and foliate elements typical of North African design.
