This set consists of a turned wood gavel and a matching circular sound block, both finished in a dark brown polish that highlights the natural grain of the timber. The gavel head features a central ribbed section flanked by flared ends and is mounted onto a turned handle with a decorative collar and a rounded terminal. The sound block is constructed of two tiered, concentric circular layers with rounded edges. No maker marks, labels, or inscriptions are visible on the exterior surfaces of either piece.
