A lot consisting of two vintage decorative metal items of British origin. The first is a Gainsborough brand pressed brass backplate for a wall-mounted flower or letter basket. The front features an embossed relief depicting a woman in profile wearing a wide-brimmed hat, accented with floral motifs and a rope-twist border. The reverse is stamped with the text GAINSBOROUGH, WALL BASKET, NEEDS NO CLEANING!, and REG: DESIGN 861688, indicating the design was registered in the United Kingdom circa 1950. The second item is a miniature decorative shoe cast in white metal. It features folk-art style engraved sunbursts and floral patterns with simulated laces across the instep.
