A lot comprising two vintage equestrian themed brooches. The first is a figural brooch depicting a horse-drawn stagecoach or carriage in profile, cast in a silver-toned metal with openwork detailing to the coach body and wheels. The reverse is fitted with a long pin and a pull-out trombone style safety clasp. The second is a figural brooch depicting a rider on a galloping horse, pavé-set with numerous faceted round-cut marcasites. The reverse of the horse and rider brooch is stamped SILVER and is fitted with a pin and rollover safety clasp. No maker’s marks are visible on either item.
