This lot comprises a religious wall plaque and a turned wooden vessel. The plaque features a silvered metal repoussé panel depicting the head of Christ crowned with thorns, set within an arched border and accompanied by a Latin cross and three nails. The panel includes the Christogram JHS and the German inscription GOTTES WILLE IST GESCHEHN / UNSER TROST IST WIEDERSEHN. This metal element is secured with brass-toned pins to a dark-stained wooden mount, which is finished with a decorative metal chain border. The accompanying turned hardwood vessel, possibly a goblet or vase, features a flared rim, a bulbous body, and a stepped circular base.
