A pair of vintage wooden-cased desk clocks of varying styles. The first is a pedestal desk clock featuring a dark-stained wooden case, likely oak, with a decorative fluted columnar stem and a tiered circular base. It has a silvered dial with black Arabic numerals, a minute track, and ornate hands behind a silver-tone metal bezel. The reverse features a brass-tone backplate with a winding arbor and regulation lever, accompanied by a butterfly-style winding key for the mechanical movement. The second is a circular desk clock by the German maker Kienzle. The case is constructed from light-toned wood on a flared matching base. The cream-coloured dial features a textured outer chapter ring with concentric circles, applied gilt-tone numerals at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, and baton indices. Although originally manufactured with an 8-day mechanical movement as indicated on the dial, this clock has been retrospectively fitted with a modern battery-operated quartz movement marked Made in W. Germany. The rear brass mounting ring displays several hand-inscribed service marks including 3/64, 11 1/2, 32465E, 5269, and SEP ‘7.
