A set of four fine bone china thimbles featuring portraiture of the members of the British rock band, The Beatles. Each thimble is decorated with a black-and-white halftone portrait of a band member: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. The respective name of each member is printed vertically in a black sans-serif font adjacent to the image. The thimbles are constructed with a traditional dimpled top and a slightly flared base rim. Each item features a black printed backstamp to the interior consisting of the text STOKE-ON-TRENT, FINE BONE CHINA, and ENGLAND, indicating manufacture in the historic pottery district of Staffordshire.
