Attributed to Alfred S. Campbell, this early 20th-century colour print depicts a Native American man in profile wearing a feathered headdress. The work is executed in a style consistent with the Art-Relievo embossed prints popularised by Campbell during the early 1900s. The print is housed in a wide, rustic dark-stained wooden frame, notable for a miniature wooden tomahawk ornament applied to the top-left corner, painted with red, white, and black details. The reverse features a brown paper backing with visible pencil markings including 9/6, suggesting an historical UK price of nine shillings and sixpence.
Frame width: 20.3 cm.
