A pair of cylindrical ceramic mugs of earthenware construction, featuring hand-painted loop handles. Each vessel is decorated with intricate Middle Eastern inspired motifs in a traditional palette of turquoise, cobalt blue, ochre yellow, iron red, and green over a cream-coloured ground. One mug is adorned with a repeating hexagonal lattice pattern containing floral sprigs and geometric accents. The second mug displays a central teardrop-shaped mandorla containing a foliate design, set against a ground of concentric circles. Both mugs are finished with decorative borders at the rim and foot. The unglazed base of one mug bears a small hand-painted mark in a reddish-brown pigment resembling a cursive letter k. The overall aesthetic is highly characteristic of mid-20th-century Jerusalem Armenian pottery.
