A pair of square red earthenware terracotta tiles featuring designs in low relief depicting the zodiac signs Pisces and Aquarius. The first tile shows Pisces, represented by two fish swimming in opposite directions flanked by two small five-pointed stars. The second tile shows Aquarius, depicting a figure pouring water with stylized zigzag lines and a single five-pointed star. The tiles are finished with a matte green surface wash. Both pieces bear a conjoined MB monogram in relief at the bottom right corner, a mark attributed to the British studio potter Maggie Berkowitz. The orange-red ceramic body is visible in areas where the surface wash has worn away, particularly on the raised details and along the edges.
Each tile measures approximately 10cm x 10cm.
