A varied collection of mid-20th-century Royal Navy personal items and insignia, likely originating from the late Second World War to the post-war period. The lot includes several black silk cap tallies with gold-wire lettering for HMS Ganges, HMS Vengeance, HMS Pembroke, HMS Concord, and a French Marine Nationale tally.

Uniform items comprise a standard blue jean sailor’s collar with three rows of white tape and a black leather sailor’s money belt featuring two snap-button pockets and a central zippered compartment. Insignia includes two black cloth shoulder flashes for the British Pacific Fleet with white embroidery, a red embroidered gunnery rate badge featuring crossed cannons and a star, and a small red-on-black Sea Cadet Corps (SCC) patch.

Metalware consists of a brass cap badge for the Aberdeenshire Voluntary Aid Detachment featuring a multi-rayed star design, two enamel and gold-toned HMS Ganges crest pins or cufflinks, and a rectangular aluminum tobacco tin stamped Duty Free H.M. Ships Only. Additional items include three original paper packets of Adamantine plated pins by D. F. Tayler and Co. Ltd. of England.
