Another Great Auction
A trio of NAO by Lladró glazed porcelain figurines depicting children in nightwear. The group comprises a tall standing girl in a nightgown, holding a pair of slippers in one hand and resting her other hand on her head; a kneeling girl in a nightgown holding a doll, featuring blue-toned trim to the collar and cuffs; and a seated toddler figure. The figurines are decorated in a characteristically muted palette of pale greys, blues, and tans. The undersides of the figures bear printed brown factory backstamps featuring the sailboat logo, NAO, HAND MADE IN SPAIN, and by LLADRÓ. Visible copyright marks for DAISA include the years 1977 and 1988. There are also various incised marks including the letter A and numbers 15 and 53.
