Another Great Auction
A sterling silver miniature novelty pill box by Douglas J. Pell, modelled in the form of a bread bin. The box features a curved, hinged lid with a diamond-shaped clasp and is fitted with a fixed wire handle to the front. The base is struck with a full set of London hallmarks including the maker mark D J for Douglas J. Pell, the 925 standard fineness mark, the Common Control Mark scales symbol, the leopard’s head assay office mark, and the date letter p for 1989.
