A late Victorian sterling silver miniature pocket hip flask or scent bottle of rectangular form with rounded corners and a screw-on spherical cap. The plain, polished body is of solid construction and displays a full set of English hallmarks. The hallmarks include the maker mark A&S for Adie and Stanton (Arthur Adie and John Stanton), the lion passant for sterling silver, the anchor for the Birmingham assay office, and the date letter u for 1894. The interior is accessed via a threaded neck.
