A George V sterling silver pedestal bowl of circular form, featuring a lobed body with four raised vertical ribs. These ribs transition into a stepped, spreading circular foot. The piece demonstrates the restrained decorative style of the early 20th century. The interior is polished while the exterior shows a natural patina.
The item is stamped with a full set of English hallmarks on the rim including the maker mark D & S for Deykin and Sons, the lion passant for sterling silver, the anchor for the Birmingham Assay Office, and the date letter o for 1913.
