A Lilliput 2000 toy typewriter featuring a plastic body in light and dark grey with red plastic keys and a red plastic carriage return lever. The device employs a manual key-strike mechanism with a moving carriage. The internal strike mechanism and carriage ruler are made of metal. It is accompanied by its original pictorial cardboard box and a matching grey plastic clip-on carrying case lid. The front panel is marked Lilliput 2000 in red script and block lettering. The red plastic keys are marked with standard letters and symbols, including characters for the pound sign and dollar sign, alongside keys marked FIG and CAP. The metal carriage ruler is marked from 0 to 60. The original box features a yellow circular graphic containing the text DELUXE 84 CHARACTER KEYBOARD and an age recommendation of 6-16.
