Another Great Auction
This vintage fire extinguishing set is identified as an Antifyre Pistole Extinguisher Model III, as clearly indicated by the original labels and the instructional plate. The set is housed in its original red-painted metal rectangular carrying case with a hinged lid. The collection comprises a metal pistol-grip discharge unit and three cylindrical refill canisters. A silver-tone metal instructional plate is riveted to the interior of the lid, providing comprehensive directions for use, including instructions for cocking the rear lever, aiming the device, and the procedure for changing the cylinders. Each of the three red-painted canisters bears a label stating Recharge for Antifyre Pistole Extinguisher Model III. The discharge unit is constructed with a black-finished pistol-grip handle and features a cocking lever and trigger mechanism.
