An extensive assortment of paper collectibles, trade cards, and vintage tins primarily of British origin. Railway-themed items include a commemorative brochure titled The First 25-kV A.C. Locomotives for British Railways featuring a cover illustration of Locomotive E3001. Two copies of An Album of Railway Engines issued by W. D. and H. O. Wills are present, including one priced at one penny featuring a streamlined steam locomotive. The lot contains a significant quantity of trade and cigarette cards, some loose and others in protective plastic sleeves, with examples from Wills’s Cigarettes and Ogden’s depicting LNER and GWR subjects. Sports memorabilia features a pack of Bobby Charlton Match 2000 Millennium Collection cards and other football trade cards including Peter Beardsley. A small cardboard box contains black and white portrait trade cards of various footballers. Travel and postcard items include a metal tin titled Carte Postale New York containing eighteen assorted vintage postcards, loose postcards of San Francisco Great Highway and Beach Esplanade, and a souvenir booklet for Washington, D.C. in Beautiful Living Color. General collectibles include a vintage Perfectos Finos 50 Cigarettes box by John Player and Sons, Nottingham, a boxed set of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines playing cards, souvenir pencils from The Old Jail Museum, and trade cards depicting jet aircraft.
