Buyer's Premium:

A polychrome glazed porcelain figurine depicting a soldier in Napoleonic-era military dress, identified as a Hussar. The figure is modelled in a standing posture with his left hand resting on the hilt of a curved sabre and his right hand placed on his hip. He wears a detailed uniform comprising a black busby hat with a red and white plume, a red dolman with white fur trim and horizontal braiding slung over his shoulder, a white tunic with similar braiding (brandebourgs), red breeches, and black boots. The figure is set upon a naturalistic grassy base atop a white and gold rococo-style scrolled plinth. The underside of the base bears an underglaze blue mark consisting of a stylized five-pointed crown, with each point ending in a small circular terminal, positioned above a capital letter N. This mark is attributed to the Ernst Bohne Sohne factory of Rudolstadt, Thuringia, Germany.
