This lot comprises a Chinese porcelain dish and a cast metal cup. The porcelain dish features the rice grain or linglong technique, characterized by semi-translucent perforations filled with clear glaze. It is decorated in underglaze blue with overglaze iron-red and gilt highlights, depicting a central floral medallion and a geometric band at the rim. The cast bronze or brass cup is finished with a dark brown patina and decorated in relief with a dragon amongst clouds below a key-fret border. A stylized Shou longevity character is present on both the interior centre and the recessed base, each filled with turquoise-coloured enamel or lacquer.
