A pair of novelty salt and pepper shakers modelled as seated teddy bears, cast in a heavy pewter alloy with a darkened patina. The bears are designed with a highly textured surface to represent fur and are depicted in a seated posture with their heads slightly tilted. Each bear has several small holes to the top of the head for dispensing salt or pepper. Based on visual characteristics and market research, these items are attributed to the retailer Past Times. No maker’s marks, factory stamps, or model numbers are visible on the exterior surfaces.
