Another Great Auction
This lot features two silver-mounted jugs of different designs. The first is a claret jug with a clear glass body of ovoid form, decorated with vertical pillar ribbing. The body is fitted with a white metal mount, which includes a hinged lid with a ball finial and a simple, angular handle. The second item is a hot water jug of tapering form, made of white metal and featuring a decorative gadrooned band around the shoulder. It is equipped with a hinged lid with a knop finial and a scroll-shaped ebonised wooden handle. While small marks are visible on the neck of each piece, they are not clearly legible for identification purposes.

Height of hot water jug: approximately 22 cm.
