A collection of nine UK pre-decimal silver coins comprising three Half Crowns dated 1928, 1929, and 1933; three Two Shillings dated 1940, 1942, and 1946; one Shilling dated 1930; one Sixpence dated 1929; and one Threepence dated 1933. The coins are struck in .500 silver. Reverse designs include the crowned shield of the Royal Arms on the Half Crowns, a rose surrounded by thistle, shamrock, and leek on the Two Shillings, a lion upon a crown on the Shilling, and oak leaf and acorn motifs on the Sixpence and Threepence. Inscriptions include FID DEF IND IMP (Fidei Defensor, Indiae Imperator – Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India). The edges of the Half Crowns and Two Shillings are reeded.
