Another Great Auction
A British silver Maundy two-pence coin from the reign of King George IV, dated 1822. The coin has been modified for use as a jewellery pendant with the addition of a small circular loop soldered to the rim. It features the standard crowned numeral reverse and laureate head obverse. The item is presented in a blue fabric-lined folding wallet with a transparent plastic window and a printed paper identification label.
