This UK 50 pence coin was issued by The Royal Mint as part of a series celebrating the Star Wars franchise. The reverse design by Lucasfilm Ltd. depicts the Death Star II and incorporates a circular lenticular feature that alternates between the Imperial insignia and a silhouette of the space station. The obverse features the definitive coinage portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings. The coin is struck in cupro-nickel and presented in the original Royal Mint folding display card with thematic artwork and specifications.
