A group of vintage folding pocket knives featuring various handle materials and blade configurations. The collection includes an all-metal folding pen knife with handle scales stamped H. E. APPLEBY & CO LTD. BIRMINGHAM 19. AST. 0749, signifying mid-20th-century manufacture in Birmingham, England. Also present is a multi-blade knife with iridescent faux-pearl celluloid scales, featuring an inset metal shield and polished metal bolsters. A third specimen features orange cracked ice or pearloid celluloid scales with metal bolsters. The final item is a smaller pen knife with aged and yellowed faux-pearl celluloid scales. The knives are constructed with carbon steel blades and metal components.
