A vintage Soviet-era lady’s manual wind cocktail watch by Slava, retailed through Sorley of Glasgow. The watch features a 17-jewel manual wind movement. The yellow metal case is hallmarked on the side near the 3 o’clock position. The silvered dial is set with applied gold-tone baton hour markers and is signed SLAVA and 17 JEWELS, with the word FOREIGN at the 6 o’clock position. It is fitted with an articulated yellow metal link bracelet with a fold-over clasp, which bears a 375 hallmark for 9 carat gold. The watch is presented in a period velvet and silk-lined presentation box from Sorley, 93-97 St Vincent Street, Glasgow, which features a Royal Warrant.
