A group of three Gift in a Tin Fighter Plane construction kits by Apples to Pears Ltd. These sets are designed to build a model propeller fighter aircraft using a bolt-together assembly method. Each kit contains perforated metal parts with an olive green finish, various plastic components including wheels and propellers, and a selection of metal nuts and bolts. Essential assembly tools, comprising a small spanner and a screwdriver, are included in each set. One tin is shown open with the contents still secured in their original factory-sealed clear plastic bags. The remaining two tins are closed. Each kit is housed in a themed decorative tin which displays the completed model on the lid and provides a photographic assembly guide on the inside lid.
