A pair of contemporary abstract sculptures carved from soapstone, each depicting a minimalist mother and child theme. The figures are rendered in a continuous looped form, with the smaller child figure nestled within the larger parental form. One sculpture is crafted from a grey stone featuring dark, mottled veining, while the second piece is composed of a cream-toned stone with reddish-brown mineral inclusions. Both items are supported by integral circular flared bases. No signatures, maker marks, or foundry stamps are present on either piece.
