A turned wood pedestal plant stand, constructed from stained wood, possibly a softwood such as pine, and finished with a warm brown high-gloss lacquer. The stand features a circular top with a raised and moulded rim. The central column is elaborately turned with alternating bulbous and cylindrical sections, resting on a matching tiered, circular base supported by small bun feet. No maker marks or manufacturer stamps are visible, however, two small adhesive labels on the central column carry the handwritten inventory number 4736.
