A Victorian Gothic Revival style pedestal stand, crafted from dark-stained wood, likely oak or walnut. The item features a solid square top with moulded edges, supported by ornate carved brackets decorated with scrollwork and cross motifs. The central column is embellished with applied geometric carvings, scrollwork, and turned bosses. The stand is supported by a four-point pedestal base with out-swept scrolling legs. The design elements are consistent with the late 19th-century Eastlake movement.
