An Art Nouveau style sculpture by the Italian artist Gino Ruggeri, depicting a female figure in classical drapery. The work is crafted from a bonded marble material with an ivory-coloured finish, featuring a woman holding a large, swirling sash. Gold-toned metallic accents are applied to the bodice and the lower edge of the drapery. The figure is set on an integral circular base, which is mounted upon a secondary rectangular black plinth. The base of the sculpture bears the incised signature G. RUGGERI and a copyright symbol.
