A large contemporary decorative figurine by the artist G. Paoli, depicting a stylised female figure in a dynamic, flowing pose. The figure is shown with closed eyes and a serene expression, wearing a gown with voluminous ruffled sleeves and a moulded necklace featuring a triangular pendant. The sculpture is constructed from an ivory-coloured composite material, commonly referred to as alabastrite or bonded marble, which has a high-gloss glazed finish. The integral circular base of the sculpture bears the incised signature G. Paoli along with a copyright symbol and the date 1994. The figure is mounted onto a secondary, tiered black circular plinth.
