The tableau depicts Peter Rabbit in his signature blue jacket standing alongside Benjamin Bunny, who is wearing a brown jacket and a green tam-o-shanter with a red pompom. The characters are set against a dry stone wall background with several small birds perched on the wall and the textured ground. A red and white spotted handkerchief is shown on the ground. The figurine is mounted on a shaped, dark-wood polished plinth. This item is a limited edition, numbered 465 of 1,250. The lot is accompanied by its original Certificate of Authenticity, which bears the Beatrix Potter and Border Fine Arts branding, the signature of Chairman John H. Hammond, and a 2004 copyright date for Frederick Warne and Co. The original manufacturer packaging is included.
