A collection of seven items of vintage advertising memorabilia, primarily constructed from ceramic. The group features two water jugs: a large cream-coloured ceramic jug for Mackinlay’s Scotch Whisky, printed with The Original Mackinlay, Estd 1815, Finest Old Scotch Whisky; and a smaller dark green ceramic jug for Old Bushmills Irish Whiskey, marked with 1608 and From the world’s oldest distillery. The collection includes four ceramic ashtrays of varying designs: a small circular cream-coloured ashtray for Hamlet Mild Cigars; a larger circular cream-coloured ashtray for Chivas Regal 12 Year Old Scotch Whisky with a scalloped, gilt-finished rim; and two square white Marlboro ashtrays featuring the brand logo and the slogan Come to where the flavour is. Completing the lot is one small clear glass dimpled beer tankard. Several pieces have small white adhesive labels with the number 4738 attached.
