Imperial Japanese Type 30 bayonet, manufactured by the Kokura Arsenal. This early-production variant features a single-edged steel blade with a deep longitudinal fuller, a hooked quillon, and a bird’s head pommel. The hilt is fitted with contoured wooden grips secured by two screws and washers. The ricasso bears the Kokura Arsenal mark, consisting of four stacked circles. The bayonet is complete with its original blued steel scabbard featuring a rounded ball finial and a black leather belt frog with a metal buckle and retaining strap.
