A collection of Chinese carved jadeite and hardstone decorative items, including a circular Ping’an Kou peace buckle and various insect-form charms. The peace buckle is a bi-style disc of deep green material with concentric relief carving, suspended from a braided grey cord with a sliding knot, decorated with multi-coloured beads and a gold-coloured metal spacer. The charms are carved as stylized cicadas, exhibiting a range of colours including pale lilac and mottled green and white tones. The items show a polished finish with incised line work defining the forms. No maker’s marks or hallmarks are present.
