A Beswick ceramic figurine depicting three huddled puppies, known as the Puppy Group. The piece features three puppy heads, likely Spaniels, grouped closely together and finished in a high-gloss glaze. The colouration consists of a shaded palette of brown, tan, and black. On the underside of the base, the figurine bears the circular backstamp for Beswick, England. The model number 917 is incised into the ceramic base, and there is a small hand-painted decorator mark in black, appearing as the number 45.
