A pair of cast pewter figurines produced by Royal Hampshire and sculpted by Robert Hardy. The set depicts two traditional street characters. One figurine represents a vendor carrying a large, overflowing woven basket of fruit on his back. The second figurine depicts a man in a hat standing beside a tall, cylindrical brazier or chestnut roaster. Both figures are rendered with an aged patina to highlight sculptural details and are mounted on integral circular bases. The underside of each base is fitted with a black felt pad featuring a gold-coloured crown emblem and printed text reading Royal Hampshire, Sculpted by R. Hardy.
